General information, not advice
This page is general information only. It does not take your objectives, financial situation or needs into account, and it is not a recommendation to acquire, hold or cancel any policy. Insurables does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence, does not arrange or advise on insurance, and does not provide financial product advice. Quotes, advice and binding cover are handled by licensed providers. Read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement and policy wording, and consider obtaining advice from someone licensed to provide it.
What this site does not do
It does not arrange, recommend, compare or bind cover, and it does not tell any particular business what it should buy. Whether a policy suits a business depends on the wording, the schedule and that business’s circumstances, which is regulated advice and the work of someone who holds a licence to do it.
It publishes no premium benchmarks. A benchmark needs a real sample, and a benchmark computed from a small one is a guess with a decimal point on it.
How the facts here are made, and how they can be wrong
Licensing and scheme requirements are recorded only when someone has read them on the publication cited, and each carries the date it was read. Where a reading could not be confirmed, the page says so rather than filling the gap.
Law changes, and a page can be right on the date shown and wrong later. Treat the as-at date as part of the fact, check anything that matters against the regulator before you rely on it, and report errors so the record can be corrected.
